Your environment is acidic 📢
Hi, i am your gut 😊
I’m burning. I’m uncomfortable. I feel sour belching and irritation. What’s going on?
This message reaches the brain, and it starts wondering:
- Was the food too acidic instead of alkaline?
- Were the meal timings off?
- Were you stressed while eating, turning food into acid?
- Too much spicy, sour food or too many pills lately?
But why didn’t you think of me first? I’m suffering 😠At the dining table, you switch off your discrimination power and surrender to taste—overeating for pleasure, forgetting the consequences. And now, I’m paying the price.
Here’s how I feel:
- Heat and discomfort in the stomach
- Irritability and mood swings
- Heaviness after meals
- Occasional headaches
- Low energy from poor digestion
- Disturbed sleep
As the saying goes: “Jaise ann, vaise mann” — your mind reflects your food.
So, what does Ayurveda suggest? Avoid foods that aggravate acidity: alcohol, caffeine, cold drinks, overly spicy or seasoned foods (onion, garlic, vinegar, chilies). Choose light, easy-to-digest foods like rice, semolina, sago, quinoa, arrowroot, coconut, and almond flour.
Gentle Remedies:
- Coconut water
- CCF tea (cumin, coriander, fennel)
- Banana
- Basil leaves
- Ginger
- Chewing fennel seeds
- Cardamom with warm water
Cool me down before the heat takes over your entire system.
Care for me—and I’ll care for you 💚
